The next GAPPI Chapter Meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 and will be a virtual meeting.
The charge for the meeting will be the regular meeting fee of $15 for GAPPI members and $20 for non-members. You will receive one hour of Continuing Education toward your license renewal by participating in the meeting.
Please fill out the registration information at the bottom of the page. You will receive the logon information for the virtual meeting once we process your registration. We will open the link at 11:45 am on Tuesday, December 12th. The actual meeting will start at 12:00 noon with announcements and a welcome by our President. Our December meeting will be a training presentation and a learning experience about our 2023 charity, Care For Cops. They are a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. This organization provides beneficiary payments to the families of Georgia’s Law Enforcement Officers who are killed in the line of duty. The group has helped 92 families to date.
David Post, a former full-time law enforcement officer and a reserve officer since 1975, is chairman of the group. With the group’s effort and hard work, Care for Cops became a reality for Georgia’s Law Enforcement in 1999. David is also the President of Future Security and has been involved in the security and investigations field for many years.
In addition to providing information about the Care For Cops program, Davis will also provide his insights on the changes within law enforcement and increased crime. He will also speak about the rise in internal thefts and how PI and security personnel can assist in reducing those events.
GAPPI will donate all proceeds from the monthly meeting and an additional donation to Care For Cops.
